Global Sales Strategy & Operations (GSSO) is the team that helps shape Gartner's mission-critical sales priorities and works with sales leaders to drive tactical and analytical insights. As an associate on the GSSO team, you'll be at the forefront of the ongoing transformation of Gartner's sales force, which delivers approximately $4.9B in annual revenue and working to drive sustained double-digit growth. You will partner with business leaders across Gartner to support a global sales force comprised of more than 5,000 associates who sell to every major function, industry and market sector around the world.

About this role:

This role is part of the Global Marketing team in GSSO. The Global Marketing team is focused on driving topline revenue and increasing seller productivity.

The User Experience Designer role is part of the Digital Experience team (DX) within Global Marketing. This role reports into the Director of User Experience within DX and focuses on the creation and iteration of experiences with the goal of delivering high-quality leads to the sales team.

We are seeking a UX Designer to help us continuously improve the public side of Gartner.com. This designer will collaborate on a variety of small and large projects targeting a variety of user journeys.

What you'll do:

  • Collaborate daily with product managers, UX researchers, content strategists, developers, and marketing partners to translate business requirements and user needs into high-fidelity designs and prototypes using Figma and other tools
  • Confidently and clearly communicate design intent and decisions to stakeholders and fellow designers, and when needed negotiate and accept compromises that do not lose the voice of the user
  • Collaborate with UX researchers in generating actionable insights to inform design directions and overall UX strategy
  • Perform and/or collaborate on UX research activities such as usability tests, heuristic evaluations, competitive analysis, accessibility audits, analytics reviews, etc. to inform your designs
  • Contribute to large scale projects involving crucial user journeys, site information architecture and accessibility improvement
  • Bring your own experience to the table, proposing new design ideas, directions, workflows, tools and ideas
  • Help us improve and maintain website quality by logging bugs and opportunities to improve the site
  • Articulate the value of the user's voice and the impact of UX work to colleagues across DX and GSSO
  • Offer and receive thoughtful feedback in design reviews

What you'll need:

  • 3-5 years' experience designing usable, accessible and visually cohesive digital products
  • Figma skills, including advanced component use, prototyping, and auto-layout
  • An understanding of responsive design from experience designing for multiple breakpoints
  • Skill articulating: design decisions, the voice of the user, and the success of your work
  • Willingness to reach out when you don't know something or need support
  • Ability to work autonomously with rigor and care
  • Enthusiasm for collaborative product design
  • A portfolio and work examples showing how your work has solved problems for actual end users

Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 84,000 USD - 116,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan.
