What does a Sr. Manager (VAF Warehouse) do at Swire Coca-Cola?

Manage total warehouse operations including budget, personnel, shipping, receiving, truck loading, ordering, facility cleanliness, security, and inventory control. Work with the DOIP group on product supply and overseeing the VAF order fulfillment. Working with Fleet department keeping forklifts and pallet jacks in good working order. Working with government regulatory agencies, or other responsibilities as assigned.

Responsibilities:



  • Effectively manages the warehouse operations, ensuring optimal performance. Interviews, hires, direct and terminate warehouse leaders. Ensures that warehouse staff is appropriately trained. Conducts performance reviews as required. Provides regular feedback regarding performance of duties as outlined in job descriptions and maintains personnel files.
  • Provides leadership and motivation to staff through effective delegation, goal-setting, and communications. Formulates and implements employee corrective actions as needed.
  • Ensures compliance with Company policies, safety regulations, and assures employee understanding and support of the Swire Mission Statement and Core Values.
  • Assumes responsibility for the effective maintenance of warehouse facilities. Ensures that the warehouse is safe, clean and orderly. Maintains an adequate level of supplies and is responsible for general repairs as needed. Ensures that all areas are secure.
  • Have an active role in planning warehouse budgets and procedures.
  • Assumes responsibility for the effective administration and coordination of warehouse activities. Keeps management informed of area activities and any significant problems or concerns.
  • Assumes responsibility for related duties as required or assigned.
  • Works with DOIP planning group on inventory levels
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


Requirements:




  • High School Diploma (or GED) required or equivalent, required
  • 10-12 years progressive experience in warehouse management required
  • Experience leading in a union environment
  • Knowledge of shipping, receiving, and inventory practices and procedures
  • Understanding of safety procedures and OSHA requirements
  • Familiarity with plant equipment
  • Knowledge of SAP (CONA) computer system
  • An understanding of transportation (long haul) dynamics
  • Knowledge and experience with Lean Logistics
  • Knowledge of ASN, RFI and Voice Pick
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to motivate and lead others
  • Ability to manage large departments with many functions.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements for facilities
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Can work independently

Base pay range is $117,209 to $146,512 plus bonus structure (dependent on role) . Pay offered will depend on candidate's geographic location, prior relevant experience, knowledge, skills, & abilities.
