Post-Doctoral Associate, Dr. Xue Feng

We are looking for one post-doctoral researcher who is interested in working on a project on plant hydraulic modeling.
80% research - The project focuses on developing theoretical models using optimization and information theory to improve understanding of plant hydraulic regulation at the leaf, plant, and ecosystem scales.
20% Participation in lab meetings and activities, dissemination of information through writing, presentations, and outreach.

REQUIRED/PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Candidates must have a PhD in environmental engineering, earth or environmental engineering, or related fields, with a background in ecohydrology. Experience in ecohydrological modeling and remote sensing is desired, along with excellent oral and written communication skills in English and strong publication preparation skills.

The St. Anthony Falls Laboratory (SAFL) is an interdisciplinary fluid mechanics research lab and educational facility under the College of Science and Engineering at the University of Minnesota. We are engineers and scientists who collaborate across disciplines to solve fluids-related problems in the Earth-surface environment.
