These may include but are not limited to duties surrounding general administrative support. Essential Functions: * Perform complex administrative tasks requiring independent judgment and high skill level and considerable knowledge of administration processes. * Good knowledge of supervisor/department/company business. * Maintain calendars and schedules and coordinate meetings and conference calls. * Meeting coordination, to including scheduling, reservations and travel arrangements based on brief instructions. * Assist in office management processes, including coordinating office moves, handling space allocation, purchasing office equipment and supplies, and serving as liaison with company Office Management personnel. * Process invoices and prepare expense reports using defined code categories in compliance with company policy. * Compose memos, reports and other correspondence from a brief outline, verbal instructions and determine the most appropriate format and best method of presentation. * Regularly compiles data, prepares, and prints related reports. * Open and route incoming mail. * Respond to correspondence for the supervisor or attach files/data that will assist the supervisor in responding. * Work with outside vendors. * Handle special projects as required. * Assist departmental management team and staff as needed. ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS:
* High school diploma or equivalent and 0-2 years experience in an administrative role. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Proficient in Word, Excel, SharePoint, PowerPoint, and Outlook. * Excellent written and verbal skills required. * Must be able to interface effectively with all levels of internal and external personnel. * Must be detail-oriented with good organizational skills. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment on multiple, concurrent assignments. * Flexibility to work extended hours if required. * Must be able to work effectively with a diverse workforce, set own priorities, and balance multiple jobs to meet deadlines. * Must exercise initiative, discretion, good judgment and tact in handling job responsibilities and assignments. * Experience within the gas and energy industry is desirable.
