As a Qualification Testing Hybrid, PMBD ICE (QTHP) Product Owner, you will oversee, guide and manage all aspects of the verification and validation work of an assigned powertrain project. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- All aspects of an assigned vehicle program within the QTHP team
- Coordinate personnel assignment and work with other product owners to ensure the proper people and their expertise are assigned during the correct phases of the program
- Plan, track, and ensure execution for all Hardware In-the Loop (HIL) verification actives of all new electrified powertrain software content
- Track, troubleshoot, and validate resolution of all software, calibration, and systems requirements issues found by QTHP throughout the program.
- Work with software, calibration, and systems teams to drive resolution of issues found by QTHP
- Plan and conduct software road readiness testing to ensure new software releases are safe to use in the development vehicle fleet
- Coordinate HIL facilities to reproduce, troubleshoot, and validate solutions for software issues found by the vehicle fleet
- Work with DVP&R development team to ensure test plans are written in a timely manner to support the start of vehicle validation
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise the electrified powertrain software requirements vehicle validation. Ensure validation deadlines are met to support vehicle project milestones
- Conduct Power Cube Release software regression and stress testing and report results to the program Controls Manager and Chief Engineer to ensure the software is ready for release to the plant
- Report verification and validation status to the program's project management during program reviews
- Track and report key performance indicators for assigned program to the QTHP senior manager and director
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Computer Engineering or related degree field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working in automotive software/controls engineering, electrified powertrain software validation, or software project management or experience in a related engineering field
- Comfortable working independently and leading a team in a high paced environment
- Good organizational skills with ability to manage multiple activates at one time
- Ability to work with people and supervise activities in other Stellantis regions (Europe, Asia, India, etc)
- Professional communication and presentation skills (both verbal and written)
- Fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing)
- Ability to work onsite or remote as needed
- A valid drivers license without restrictions
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Computer Engineering or related degree field
- 7 years of experience in a related engineering job
- Experience in automotive hybrid/fully electric architectures
- Knowledge of HIL and vehicle validation testing methodologies
- Proficient knowledge of networks protocols
- Proficient knowledge of propulsion system architectures
- Proficient knowledge of CANoe/CANalyzer and INCA tools
- Knowledge of hazard analysis criteria and electronic background Simulation of CAN messages via CAPL
- Availability to travel
- Good know-how of object-oriented programming language (example: Python)
