What You Will Do:

GFT is seeking a Compensation Manager to join our Human Resources team! This role follows a hybrid work model, requiring regular attendance in the office. Preference will be given to candidates who live near Mechanicsburg, PA, however we will also consider candidates within the following metro areas: Pittsburgh, PA; Philadelphia, PA; East Brunswick, NJ; Owings Mills, MD; Raleigh, NC; Miami, FL; Kansas City, MO; or Chicago, IL.

The GFT Shared Service Services team, which includes Human Resources, Legal, Accounting & Finance, IT Services and Marketing & Communications, is essential for managing and supporting the company's global operations. Shared Services is part of a broader strategy to transform the business and improve efficiency. The support of this amazing team of professionals is the backbone of our ability to deliver infrastructure consulting and design services.

What you'll be challenged to do:
This is an excellent career opportunity for an experienced, motivated Compensation Manager who thrives in a collaborative team environment. As Compensation Manager, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing GFT's compensation strategies and programs.

In this capacity, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

  • Design and manage compensation structures, salary bands, and incentive programs.
  • Conduct market analysis and benchmarking to ensure competitive pay practices.
  • Lead the annual compensation review process, including merit increases and bonuses
  • Provide guidance and training to HR business partners and managers on compensation-related matters.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local compensation laws and regulations.
  • Analyze compensation data and prepare reports for senior leadership.
  • Evaluate job descriptions and recommend appropriate salary grades.
  • Manage salary survey participation
  • Support M&A activity and organizational changes with compensation modeling and integration planning.
Education | Experience:
What you will bring to our firm:
  • A Bachelor's degree (BA, BS) or equivalent
  • PHR, SPHR, CCP, SHRM-CP, or CEBS required
  • 5+ years of experience in compensation management or related HR function
  • Ability to analyze data
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in Excel and HRIS systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Deep understanding of compensation laws, trends, and best practices
What we prefer you bring:
  • Compensation management experience within an AEC firm (Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management)
Compensation:
The salary range for this role is $150,000 - $200,000. Salary is dependent upon experience and geographic location.
