Now Hiring: Laundry Maintenance Technician
General Parts is looking for a skilled
Laundry Maintenance Technician to repair and maintain commercial equipment in
schools, healthcare facilities, hotels and restaurantsthroughout your area.
Pay & Benefits:
$20-27/hr(based on experience)
Schedule: Monday to Friday 8 AM to 4:30 PM with 30 min lunch
Company vehicle- dispatched from home

Overview:
As a
Laundry Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing washers, dryers, and other related equipment. You will work closely with the customer and your team to ensure minimal downtime and optimal performance of laundry systems. Your ability to diagnose issues quickly and implement effective solutions will be critical to the success of our customers laundry operations. In this role, you will also be expected to maintain accurate maintenance records, follow safety protocols, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations. You should be comfortable working independently as well as part of a team and be able to manage multiple tasks efficiently. A strong understanding of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems is essential. What You'll Do:
Operating and monitoring commercial laundry machines, including washers, extractors, dryers, ironers, and presses.
Performing routine maintenance, cleaning, oiling, and making minor repairs to laundry equipment to ensure optimal function and longevity.This can include diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues and replacing parts.
Order and install replacement parts. Responsible for maintaining and keeping track of inventory and tools.
Interacting courteously with effective communication with the customers and your office staff, reporting any concerns to both customers and office staff.
What We Need:
Valid driver's license and driving record that meets our safety standards
Completion of a criminal background check and drug screen
2+ yearsof related experience, education, or military training preferred
Strong mechanical aptitude & ability to lift
up to 50 lbs
Must be at least 18 years of age
