Chromalloy is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Lead Compensation Professional to join our team. This role requires a solid background in compensation platform implementations, HRIS data management, job evaluation, survey participation, and advance compensation analysis. This Compensation role will be instrumental in developing and implementing compensation strategies that support our organizational objectives. Key Responsibilities:
- Compensation Platform Analytics Maintenance:
- Oversee the ongoing implementation and optimization of our Salary.com compensation management platform, ensuring data accuracy and system functionality building/delivering the foundation for reliable and standardized compensation analysis.
- Collaborate with both third party and internal IT and HR teams to enhance system capabilities and user experience.
- Manage HRIS integration with compensation systems to ensure seamless data flow and integrity.
- Develop and maintain file feeds in compliance with data security standards.
- Global Merit and Bonus Plan Support:
- Support the configuration of bonus plan design and maintenance, and monthly audits in Dayforce.
- Collaborate with HRIS and Finance to support monthly accruals as needed.
- Annual Global Merit Planning
- Evaluation of global merit budget recommendations based on survey analysis
- Pay-to-market analysis by location
- Job Evaluation:
- Conduct thorough job evaluations to determine appropriate salary grades and ranges, utilizing market data, regression analysis and internal equity assessments as required.
- Support a global comprehensive job description project and competency frameworks in collaboration with department leaders and broader HR to assure outcomes support compensation analysis requirements.
- Work X-functionally with Legal, Operations, and HR to build out Dayforce capability to house job descriptions at the job/department level.
- Apply global job evaluation methodologies to ensure consistency and equity across all geographic locations.
- Collaborate with international teams to align compensation practices with local market standards and compliance requirements.
- Survey Participation:
- Lead and coordinate participation with third party vendors for compensation survey activities to benchmark salaries and benefits against industry standards.
- Analyze survey results to inform compensation strategies and provide actionable insights.
- Union Negotiation Support:
- Assist in preparing compensation-related materials for union negotiations, including market analysis and compensation proposals.
- Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to support the negotiation process.
- Reporting and Analysis:
- Generate and present regular reports on compensation trends, pay equity, and compliance metrics for leadership review.
- Utilize advanced data analytics to identify trends and make informed recommendations for compensation adjustments.
- Policy Development:
- Contribute to the development and implementation of comprehensive compensation policies and procedures that align with organizational goals and compliance standards.
- Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Partner with HR Business Partners, finance, legal and department leaders to ensure alignment of compensation strategies with overall business objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration/Economics or a related field; advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CCP, GRP) is preferred.
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in compensation analysis, with expertise in compensation platform administration and HRIS.
- Strong knowledge of job evaluation methodologies, including global job evaluation experience, and participation in compensation surveys.
- Working knowledge data analysis tools, e.g. Power BI or Tableau and advanced Excel skills.
- Familiarity with collective bargaining agreements and supporting analytics for union negotiations desired.
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities and the ability to work independently.
