Fire Inspector

Founded in 1984, Firetrol Protection Systems, Inc. is the national leader in fire protection & life safety services. We are currently seeking a Fire Inspector to join our team of over 1,100 of the best fire protection professionals in the industry. This position is based in our Tulsa, OK location.

• Conduct inspections, testing, and maintenance of fire protection systems according to local, state, and national fire codes.
• Document inspection findings and prepare detailed reports for clients, highlighting necessary repairs and recommendations for compliance.
• Collaborate with clients and contractors to address any issues and ensure timely resolution.
• Stay current with fire safety regulations, codes, and industry best practices to provide accurate guidance and recommendations.
• May require occasional overtime, nights, weekends, and on-call hours depending on the needs of the business.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in fire protection, inspections, or a related field.
• Knowledge of fire alarm, sprinkler, and suppression systems, with the ability to interpret applicable codes and standards.
• Fire Inspector certification or the ability to obtain it within a specified time frame.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills for thorough documentation.
• Effective communication skills to interact with clients, team members, and other stakeholders professionally.
• Valid driver's license and the ability to pass background checks and drug screenings.
