About The Role:

The Client Developer role involves leading strategic business development efforts and strengthening client relationships across a variety of market sectors. You will work closely with local staff and leadership to drive growth, develop client engagement strategies, and help position S&ME as a trusted advisor and service provider in the Ohio region.

* Client Engagement: Cultivate and enhance relationships with existing and potential clients in multiple market sectors.
* Strategic Planning: Partner with internal teams to set sales goals and business plans aligned with regional growth objectives.
* Marketing Coordination: Collaborate with Marketing and Project Management teams on proposals, RFQs, and promotional efforts.
* Industry Involvement: Plan and attend local industry events and association functions to increase visibility and market presence.
* Leadership: Lead monthly business development meetings and drive alignment between teams and strategic goals.

About You:

* You have a Bachelor's degree in engineering, marketing, construction, business, or a related field
* You have a minimum of 6 years of technical and/or business development experience in the A/E/C industry
* You have existing relationships within the Commercial Real Estate, Architecture, Construction, and Engineering industries
* You have excellent communication skills-both written and verbal-to engage clients and internal teams effectively
* You have a track record of achieving sales targets and expanding market share
