Senior Communications Manager

C3 AI is hiring a Senior Communications Manager to help lead external communications across media, digital, and executive channels. This is a key role on the Corporate Communications team, focused on building C3 AI's reputation through strategic PR, high-quality written content, and consistent brand messaging across external channels, including events, advertising, and web.

We're looking for a corporate communicator with strong media instincts, exceptional writing ability, and in-house experience at a B2B AI or enterprise software company. You will work cross-functionally with marketing, product, and design to ensure clarity and consistency in how C3 AI shows up in the market.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute strategic communications plans that support company priorities, product launches, and industry partnerships
• Draft and edit press releases, blog posts, executive quotes, media pitches, bylines, and talking points
• Manage relationships with media and analysts; secure high-impact coverage in top-tier business, tech, and industry publications
• Support executive communications, including speechwriting and interview preparation
• Support the development of advertising and website copy - working with design and product marketing to shape clear, concise, and compelling messages
• Support communications, including messaging, speaker preparation, and media engagement for major company events, including C3 Transform, C3 AI Federal Forum, and World Economic Forum
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product marketing, design, demand gen, legal) to ensure message consistency across channels
• Monitor news cycles and industry trends to identify opportunities for rapid response or thought leadership
• Strong project management skills and the ability to move quickly in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, English, or related field
• 7-10 years of experience in communications, public relations, or journalism, with at least 3 years in-house at a B2B enterprise tech or AI company
• Exceptional writer and editor; proven ability to develop concise, high-quality communications across PR, marketing, and executive content
• Skilled at translating complex technical concepts into clear, accessible language for media, customers, and executive stakeholders
• Deep understanding of enterprise software, artificial intelligence, and cloud technologies
• Strong media relationships and experience managing PR agencies
• Exceptional writing, editing, and project management skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with communications for public companies
• Familiarity with federal or industrial markets
• Background in financial communications a plus
