Nisga'a CIOPS provides hands-on experienced services to civilian and DoD programs worldwide. Delivering highly skilled, cleared personnel who provide services on five continents for a portfolio of customers.

Summary:

The Senior Computer User Support Specialist will provide advanced technical support and contribute to the design and implementation of high-quality operating system components. This role involves gathering and analyzing data, identifying root causes of technical issues, and proposing and implementing effective solutions. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of operating system internals, experience across various platforms and devices, and the ability to collaborate closely with project leads and engineering teams.


Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

  • Gather and analyze technical data to identify trends, diagnose issues, and recommend solutions.
  • Design, develop, and implement high-quality components for operating systems and end-user environments.
  • Provide advanced support for a wide range of IT assets, including desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripheral equipment.
  • Collaborate with project leads, software engineers, and system administrators to ensure seamless integration and support of IT systems.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and performance tuning of operating systems and applications.
  • Maintain documentation of support procedures, system configurations, and troubleshooting steps.
  • Mentor junior support staff and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies, tools, and best practices in user support and system administration.

Qualifications

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:

  • Familiarity with a wide range of end-user devices, platforms, and IT assets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of in-depth experience.
  • IAT Level II Certification
  • Must have Top Secret (SCI Eligible)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience working in federal or defense environments.
  • Industry standard technical network certifications.

Pay and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $76,000.00 to $85,500.00 annually.
