Summary of the Job:

The Analyst II role will support the reporting and analytics functions of the credit team by collecting, processing and analyzing credit data to generate meaningful analysis. This is an entry level position that will assist the senior team members in producing regular monthly reports, providing QA/QC help with code and data quality assessments. They will work with a team of credit analysts to analyze the credit card loan portfolios as well as perform ad-hoc analysis. The role provides a foundation for growth within credit risk while helping drive the team's data driven risk management.

About This Role:

Major responsibilities:

  • Conduct analysis and reporting work as assigned, including but not limited to helping run regular monthly reporting.
  • Monitor ongoing delinquency and loss performance of credit card portfolios, identify and investigate trends and report on findings.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Must have the ability to operate independently in a research capacity with some direction.
  • Ability to identify root causes of issues and report on those causes.
  • Build strong cross functional working relationships with peers and management.
  • Ability to work with data to identify complex business trends
  • The role is expected to have hands on-experience working with Snowsight and Python.

The Ideal Candidate for This Role:

Required Qualifications, Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, Finance, Business or related field; advanced degree preferred
  • 1+ year of experience in credit analytics, risk management, or a related field
  • 1+ year experience working with analytical tools (e.g., SQL, R, Python)

Compensation:

Compensation range (base pay): $62,047.00-$102,377.00

This role may have a specific starting pay within this range.

Final compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon work experience, education, and/or skill level.
