As the Project Coordinator for the Strategy, Consulting & Innovation division, you will provide comprehensive operational, project, and administrative support to a dynamic and highly visible function. Your primary duties will include project coordination and administrative support for the Strategy, Consulting and Innovation leaders and their teams. We seek team members who are highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented, with a passion for problem-solving and relationship-building.

This role is eligible for the Mobile or Resident persona with an in-office expectation 2x/weekly (Tues/Wed) at our Boston location.

Your Day to Day

Administrative & Organization Support:

  • Schedule and arrange associated logistics for meetings and events, including competitive intelligence share-outs, presentations, design thinking workshops, lunch & learns, etc.
  • Manage leader (VP Strategy) individual calendar and team event/meeting calendars for the Strategy, Consulting, and Innovation teams including proactively managing potential conflicts and coordinating logistics.
  • Arrange travel, process expenses, and ensure compliance with company systems, processes, and policies.
  • Assist with annual budget planning, monitor expenditures, process invoices, track payments to vendors, and manage procurement processes.
  • Proactively maintain inventory and order office and event supplies to ensure availability and readiness.
  • Optimize communications by maintaining distributions lists, creating newsletters, and updating websites for cross-company communication.

Project & Performance Support:

  • Create and design presentations, posters, surveys, interview guides, facilitation guides, and other materials.
  • Ensure and help coordinate timely company-wide administrative efforts including compliance training, goal setting, performance check-ins, business continuity planning, copyright clearance survey, etc.
  • Develop dashboards, scorecards, and reports that help track individual, team, and project success metrics, including competitive intelligence website utilization, design thinking training scores, project statuses, etc.
  • Research, experiment and help the team adopt new and innovative workforce productivity tools such as virtual conferencing, virtual collaboration, virtual tours, GenAI, etc.
  • Create, organize and maintain a Teams file management and file sharing system, structure and process for the collection, storage and access of presentations, files, spreadsheets, and media for all projects.

Engagement & Culture Building:

  • Capture, develop, edit, and publish content for websites, intranet, e-mails, and other SCI communications.
  • Help plan agendas, conduct surveys, coordinate meetings, and facilitate culture-building initiatives.
  • Plan and organize periodic volunteer and community engagement opportunities and activities for the SCI team.
  • Assist in planning, scheduling and co-facilitating education programs for SCI team members and SCI facilitated sessions for BCBSMA associates.
  • Support and coordinate job posting, recruiting, interviewing hiring and onboarding of new associates.

  • Ability to problem-solve in real-time and work effectively under pressure.
  • Initiative and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in all tasks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency and/or ability to quickly ramp up in Productivity tools (MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) Conferencing systems (e.g., MS Team, Zoom, etc.); Collaboration capabilities (e.g., Mural/Miro/Figma, etc.); Project tools (e.g., MS Project, Kanban, Jira, etc.); People & Travel systems (e.g., Workday, Concur, etc.)
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of administrative or business support experience.

LocationBoston Time TypeFull time Hourly Range: $31.43 - $38.42

The job posting range is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs and affordability.

This job is also eligible for variable pay.
