LEVEL I

  • Estimated annual base pay: $73,520.00 (minimum) - $91,900.00 (midpoint) - $110,280.00 (maximum)

LEVEL II

  • Estimated annual base pay: $87,600.00 (minimum) - $109,500.00 (midpoint) - $131,400.00 (maximum)
  • All members included in annual cash bonus opportunity.
    • 401(k) match (4.5%)
    • Annual Woodward stock contribution (5%)

Are you ready to make your mark? If you're a Controls Engineer, we have an exciting opportunity for you. Controls Engineer reports to Technical Leadership whose focus is performing routine functions which require the application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria in carrying out a sequence of controls engineering tasks. This position requires a moderate to high level of supervision; most work is still reviewed by a more senior engineer.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Works assigned tasks to meet schedule and may coordinate details with other departments.
  • Recognizes problemsthat are beyond capabilities and is learned from the experts in the area.
  • Performs routine functionsthat require application of standard techniques, procedures and criteria in carrying out a sequence of related engineering tasks.
  • Designs, supports and tests low complexity controls and automation systems and equipment. Ensures designs meet useability and supportability criteria.
  • Applying industry best practices for machine safety, ergonomics, and efficiency/product yield.
  • Supports the manufacturing floor for any controls related questions

What We Are Looking For

LEVEL I

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
  • Internship related industry experiences preferred

LEVEL II

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
  • Six Sigma tool knowledge required
  • 2+ years of experience in related field
  • Basic engineering knowledge; basic understanding of component function and testing.

This position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
