Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Program Coordinator (Academic Success) for the School of Nursing.
Among the key duties of the position are the following:
- Provides focused academic support for upper-division (juniors, seniors, and 2nd degree) nursing students at Rutgers School of Nursing.
- Coordinates course-based tutoring, develops academic coaching resources, and collaborates directly with faculty to identify and address academic challenges through individualized remediation.
- Fosters academic success, retention, and NCLEX readiness among nursing students.

Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience |
- Bachelor's degree in Higher Education, Nursing, or a related field.
- 2 years of professional experience in the related field.

Certifications/Licenses |

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities |
- Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Experience with technology platforms including Microsoft Office, Canvas, Qualtrics, and CRM systems.

Preferred Qualifications |
- Master's degree preferred in Higher Education, Nursing, or a related field.
- 3-5 years years of professional experience in the related field.
- Experience coaching or advising college students, preferably upper-division or healthcare-related majors.
- Familiarity with student development theory.
- Supervisory experience with peer educators or student staff.
- Knowledge of academic early alert systems.
- Knowledge of nursing education structure, NCLEX preparation, and HESI assessment tools.
