I-State Truck Center's Inver Grove Heights location is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Fleet Sales Administrator to support our Sales team in delivering exceptional service to our clients. The Fleet Sales Administrator will play a critical role in managing truck inventory, tracking customer orders, and ensuring smooth communication between the sales team, customers, and other stakeholders. This position requires strong administrative skills, excellent communication, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Pay Range: $22.00-$27.00/hour DOE Key Responsibilities
- Administrative and Clerical Support: Provide comprehensive administrative and clerical support to the Sales team, including preparing documents, scheduling meetings, and managing correspondence.
- Inventory Management: Oversee the full spectrum of truck inventory tracking, from initial build to completion and delivery, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
- Order Monitoring and Updates: Monitor all customer truck orders, proactively updating the Sales team on progress, delays, and any issues that may arise.
- Reporting and Auditing: Prepare and submit reports to auditors, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations. Conduct regular inventory reviews to maintain accuracy and identify discrepancies.
- Data Management: Maintain accurate records in the company's inventory and order management systems, ensuring all data is current and accessible.
- Communication Liaison: Act as a point of contact between the Sales team, production teams, and customers to facilitate clear and timely communication regarding order status and delivery schedules.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline administrative processes and improve efficiency in inventory and order tracking workflows.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in business administration, logistics, or a related field preferred.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in an administrative or clerical role, preferably in sales, logistics, or inventory management.
- Skills:
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and inventory management software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the automotive or trucking industry.
- Familiarity with auditing processes and inventory reporting.
- Knowledge of CRM or ERP systems.
Work Environment
- Full-time position, typically Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime as needed.
- Office-based role with potential for hybrid work arrangements, depending on company policy.
- Collaborative team environment with regular interaction with Sales, Production, and Customer Service teams.
