Compensation Grade: P13Compensation Details: Minimum: $50,456.00 - Maximum: $50,456.00 AnnuallyDepartment (OPH) PHEP - Office of Health Emergency PreparednessJob Description: Responsibilities The Health Program Aide will provide administrative support to the Regional Office Health Emergency Preparedness Program and staff, including administrative support for Division program planning and reporting activities. Responsibilities will also include, but not be limited to developing and maintaining database, filing and other required office systems; coordinating and scheduling meetings and conference calls; making travel arrangements; preparing documents and reviewing work products; running/printing program reports; screening telephone calls and reviewing and prioritizing incoming correspondence; performing purchasing activities and coordinating and assisting with special projects. Other appropriate duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related field; Or an Associate's in a related field and one year of general office experience, secretarial or administrative experience; OR three years of such experience. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in a Public Health Emergency Preparedness Program. FEMA IS-100 Introduction to the Incident Command System course completion certificate. Conditions of Employment Grant funded position. Compliance with funding requirements such as time and effort reporting, grant deliverables, and contract deliverables, is required. Valid and unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S. is required. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. Travel, up to 10% of the time, will be required. The selected candidate must reside within a reasonable commuting distance of the official work location specified in the job posting and must also be located in or willing to relocate to one of the following states: New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Vermont, or Massachusetts, prior to hire.
