Electrical Pre-Fabrication Apprentice

IES Commercial, Inc is seeking a full-time Pre-Fabrication Apprentice in Grand Island, Nebraska.

Job Summary

1. Under direct supervision completes assembly of electrical and structural components per specific drawings and NEC Code
2. Testing, receiving/shipping products and keeping pre-fab shop clean and organized
3. Loading and unloading materials; delivering materials/components to job sites
4. Reading and understanding prefabrication prints
5. Compliance with all company and customer safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications

1. Ability to safely utilize hand and power tools
2. Ability to follow directions of experienced electrician
3. Ability to read a tape measure and prefabrication prints
4. Prior electrical experience a plus
5. Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) drug test and MVR check
6. Successfully pass background check if applicable for project transfers per customer contract requirements.
