SAFETY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: HEAVY BRIDGE PROGRAM - Serve as BNSF's lead Structures representative for the South Region Heavy Bridge program, from generating consensus on initial design concept through in-servicing and ultimately project closeout. At any point in time, the typical workload for this position would have six to 12 Heavy Bridge projects in a status ranging from concept development, detailed design/permitting or active construction. While not an all inclusive list, some anticipated categories of tasks include managing project contracts and financial budgets/forecasts/performance, meeting with internal and external stakeholders, coordinate with Divisions on project support needs, long range planning. SYSTEM STRUCTURES RESPONSE/COVERAGE: Serve in System Structure's weekend/holiday rotation for response to service interruption recovery efforts. Roles include in-office coordination, on-site response or off-site representation overseeing fabrication of materials. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
