Job Title: Pension Services Analyst Location: Onsite - Concod, CA
Hours: Mon-Fri 8am - 5pm PST Job Type: Full-Time About the Role Are you a detail-oriented professional who thrives on solving complex problems and delivering exceptional service? We're looking for a Pension Services Analyst who can combine analytical precision with white-glove customer care to support our members through every step of their retirement journey. In this role, you'll be responsible for processing pension applications, investigating member histories, and uncovering discrepancies with a detective's mindset. You'll also serve as a trusted guide to members-explaining pension benefits, resolving issues, and ensuring a seamless experience from inquiry to resolution. Key Responsibilities * Analyze and process pension applications, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete. * Conduct in-depth fact-finding to reconstruct member work histories and determine pension eligibility. * Deliver clear, empathetic explanations to members and union representatives via phone, email, online portal, and in-person. * Identify and resolve complex pension issues, documenting findings and outcomes with precision. * Calculate pension benefits under multiple plans, including adjustments for QDROs, suspensions, and post-age 70 accruals. * Review and verify pension applications completed by peers for accuracy and completeness. * Maintain and update member records, ensuring data integrity across systems. * Prepare correspondence and reports related to pension benefits, retirement history, and tax reporting. What You Bring * Strong analytical and investigative skills-you enjoy digging into data and uncovering the full story. * Ability to walk members through complex processes with clarity and patience. * A proactive mindset for identifying issues and crafting thoughtful, compliant solutions. * Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. * A commitment to providing high-touch, white-glove service to every member. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.). * Proven success in roles within banking, real estate, or other data-driven environments. * Experience in pension administration, benefits processing, or a related field is a plus. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
