Position: Events Manager | Division: Marcom| Work Days: Monday - Friday | Hours of Operation: 8:00am - 5:00pm

- Achieve best-in-class experiences for corporate and customer-facing events through effective communication, budget management, and project management.
- Design and create innovative event concepts reflecting employee, customer, and industry trends.
- Coordinate and manage all logistics for events, including vendor management, contracts and permitting, payment, budget, run of show, branded swag, technical needs, entertainment, volunteer and team coordination.
- Coordinate media/PR speakers, slides and other presentation assets, printed and digital collateral, invitation and RSVP management, and more for event logistics.
- Act as a strategic partner to identify event objectives, goals, and success metrics aligned with the organization's mission, vision, and values.
- Maintain budget, procurement, invoice/expense tracking, reconciliation, and reporting.
- Keep leaders, stakeholders, partners, and vendors updated with event plans and progress.
- Assign roles, responsibilities, and tasks to team members and vendors to ensure event success.
- Manage all deliverables related to the event.
- Partner with peers on the Marketing Communications team, including line of business leads and the creative team.
- Oversee event staff and third-party execution while maintaining a positive environment.
- Coordinate event feedback, evaluation, and reporting on KPIs.
- Establish processes and procedures for event management.
Support the Corporate Communications team with project work, administrative tasks, and other duties as assigned to ensure departmental objectives are met. - This position may require travel within the Bank's geographic area.
Experience & Education:
- Minimum of 5+ years of event planning and execution experience.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or business administration.

- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to maintain productive and collaborative relationships.

- Excellent writing skills, including creating marketing and promotional materials such as invitations, landing pages, signage, and more.
- Clear and concise communication with event attendees, stakeholders, vendors, event staff/volunteers, and other impacted groups.
- Effective project and time management experience with problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and prioritization of projects.
- Ability to negotiate event contracts to serve the interests of the bank and guests.
- Comfortable working independently while also working collaboratively in groups.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, event and RSVP platforms, and creative software such as Adobe Acrobat and InDesign.
Other Requirements:
- Some travel to markets in Texas may be required.
- Requires the ability to lift, carry, push, pull weights or otherwise move objects weighing as much as 10 lbs. on a regular basis and/or for extended periods of time during the workday.
- Occasional overtime or extended hours may be required.
