Job Announcement Three Rivers Park District is seeking to fill two Greenskeeper positions. The current vacancies are located at: Baker National Golf Course (.65) and Elm Creek Park Reserve (.35) Glen Lake Golf and Practice Center (.65) and Hyland Hills Ski Area (.35) This is a year-round full-time benefitted position. During the golf season, this position is responsible for performing technical golf course maintenance tasks under minimum supervision with an emphasis on irrigation, chemical application, cultural practices, and the skilled use of specialized equipment. During the winter, this position will perform maintenance duties to support, snow removal, ski trail grooming, and operation of specialized equipment. Successful candidates will be placed on an eligibility list from which future vacancies may be filled. Three Rivers Park District operates six golf facilities including: Baker National Golf Course in Medina, Eagle Lake Golf Course and Parkers Lake Driving Range in Plymouth, Glen Lake Golf Course in Eden Prairie, Hyland Greens Golf Course in Bloomington, and Cleary Lake Golf Course in Prior Lake. STARTING RANGE: $26.35 - $31.26/hour, depending on qualifications. Essential Duties and Qualifications EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school graduate or Graduate Equivalency Degree (GED), plus two-year degree in Golf Course Maintenance, Turf Grass Science, Horticulture or related OR a minimum of two years (or four seasons) of progressive experience in golf course maintenance OR any combination of education and experience equivalent to the above. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Valid Class D Minnesota Driver's License. Current Minnesota non-commercial Pesticide Applicator's license in the general grounds, turf, and ornamental categories. You can find the full position description for this position by clicking here.
