Tyler Union is currently seeking a motivated and detail-orientedCMMS Internto join our team on a part-time basis (29 hours per week). The CMMS Intern will provide support to the maintenance team by assisting with data entry, tracking maintenance activities, and learning about asset management and preventive maintenance programs. This internship offers hands-on experience with the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and exposure to maintenance operations within a manufacturing environment. The intern will develop practical skills while contributing to maintaining accurate maintenance records and supporting plant reliability efforts. - Follow all processes and procedures associated with the Tyler Union Safety Management Program. Advise management of any deviations from this program.
- Support data entry and update work orders under supervision to ensure proper documentation of maintenance activities.
- Help generate basic reports related to maintenance tasks and preventive maintenance.
- Participate in CMMS training sessions to learn system functions and best practices.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to understand plant reliability and maintenance processes.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and audits as needed.
- Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be actively pursuing a bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, Facilities Management, or related field.
- Basic familiarity with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Interest in learning about maintenance management, data systems, and manufacturing operations
- Strong attention to detail, willingness to learn, and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
