The Equipment Coordinator performs manual and clerical duties related to shipping, receiving, inspecting, storing, issuing, and delivering network electronics and any related materials.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:



  • Ability to load, unload, and move material within or near work site.
  • Handle all incoming shipments and perform inspections when material is received.
  • Transport, or schedule transport, of material from storage or work sites to designated area.
  • Attach asset tags to equipment for tracking purposes
  • Record necessary data (CPE location, OID, etc.) for issuance of network electronics from the warehouse to orders
  • Stock shelves with various types of electronics and materials. Lifts heavy objects by hand or with lift.
  • Process and perform data entry of returns; also returns material to proper shelf in warehouse.
  • Ensure that warehouse stays organized and free of debris.
  • Ability to be on time for scheduled work day and complete all work hours required.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and to get along with co-workers.
  • Ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education and/ or Experience:



  • High School Diploma / GED.
  • 2 or more years' job-related experience and/or training.
  • Knowledge of automated or computerized system operation / basic computer skills.
  • Knowledge of record keeping practices.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of safety practices.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel,etc).
  • Skill in lifting heavy packages and objects.
  • Skill in operating forklift or other material handling equipment in tight and congested areas.

  • Sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Lifting up to 50 pounds several times a day.
  • Overhead lifting of over 20 pounds.
  • Bending, stooping, climbing ladders and crawling.
  • Keyboarding/typing.
  • Long hours involving overtime and weekends as necessary.
  • Ability to read effectively from a computer screen, sampling device and/or a paper copy.


Working Conditions:



  • Ability to work multiple tasks in a stressful environment while maintaining a positive and pleasant manner with others.
  • Ability to handle a large volume of work and perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced office environment.
  • Ability to travel 20%.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, holidays, and weekends.
