Overview

BAI, a defense contractor, is seeking an Acquisition Specialist/Management Analyst, Senior professional with 10+ years of experience performing duties described in the functional description. Supporting Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) Airborne Electronic Attack (AEA) Program Office (PMA-234), at Patuxent River, MD. Salary

The typical annual salary range for this position is $89,814.00 USD to $107,971.00 USD. Salary will be based on current qualifications, directly related experience, geographic location, and possible contractual requirements which could fall outside of this range.



Responsibilities

    Supports and drafts program milestone related documentation to ensure compliance with all aspects of the DoD and SECNAV 5000 series directives
  • Assists with program digital reporting tools such as DAVE, Qlik Sense Enterprise, RDA Information System (RDAIS), and the Procurement Management Tool (PMT)
  • Supports the development of program acquisition documentation such as Acquisition Plans (AP), Acquisition Strategies (AS), Acquisition Program Baselines (APBs), Procurement Initiation Document (PID), Statement of Work (SOW), funding documents, and Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs)
  • Assess program procedures, practices, philosophies, and documentation for compliance with specifications, contracts, and mission requirements
  • Attends, participates, supports, analyzes, provides input, develops, prepares, and reports on briefs, point papers, reports, correspondence, meetings, conferences, and review boards


Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience performing duties described in the responsibilities description

Desired Experience

  • At least five (5) years of experience in the NAVAIR program management, technical, and business analysis discipline, related to acquisition and life cycle management

EDUCATION

Degree: MA/MS degree

Allowable Substitution:

  • Bachelor's Degree plus two (2) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category may be substituted for a Master's Degree.

OR

  • Associate's Degree plus four (4) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category may be substituted for a Master's Degree.

OR

  • Six (6) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category may be substituted for a Master's Degree.

CLEARANCE

Must maintain Secret security clearance eligibility at minimum

May require access to classified information up to and including Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI)

Condition of Employment: Applicant must have an active DoD Secret Clearance. The applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
