Overview

LMI is seeking a Business Systems/CAT Testing Coordinator to support modernizing USPS's Product Tracking and Reporting (PTR) System operations. The Business Systems/CAT Testing Coordinator will be part of a team that is delivering comprehensive software lifecycle support for the PTR product developed by USPS. All candidates must have strong communication skills, a passion for testing, and a desire to learn new technologies on high-profile projects. Experience designing, writing, and executing test cases and project management are preferred.

Responsibilities

    Collaborate with a team of professionals to craft, implement, and evaluate test scenarios for USPS.
  • Gather, document, and analyze software requirements from stakeholders and outside entities.
  • Create and maintain IT documentation for customer systems.
  • Specify, design, write and execute test cases based on business requirements.
  • Interact professionally with customers and team members to solve problems.
  • Present test results to customers, developers, and others.
  • Support and management of schedule, requirements, progress, and reporting
  • Program coordination support by tracking, managing, and reporting on risk, actions, issues, and decisions.
  • Project tracking and status updates by way of preparing periodic overviews and scheduled status reports, updates, and leadership briefs.


Qualifications

MINIMUM:

  • Minimum bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, engineering, or a related field.
  • five to eight (5-8) years of professional experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in agile software testing.
  • Ability to specify, design, write, and execute test cases based on business requirements.
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written and the ability to work tactfully with a team of software developers and domain experts.
  • Ability to professionally interact with customers and team members to solve problems.
  • Presentation skills to regularly present test results.
  • Ability to manipulate and analyze data using Excel, or other tools.
  • Ability to obtain a USPS security clearance.

PREFERRED:

  • Basic understanding of Python, C# HTMO, ASP.NET and Javascript desired.
  • Intermediate understanding of SQL desired.
  • Working knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, Strategy or Qlik.
  • Working knowledge of data platforms like Oracle and Databricks
  • Familiarity with API integration and usage
  • Experience testing various types of software, such as web and native mobile applications desired.
  • Experience using formal task and ticketing applications such as Atlassian JIRA or Bugzilla desired.
  • Knowledge of information systems and experience working with federal agencies desired.
  • Experience working in a consultant/client environment is desired.
  • Project management experience preferred.

Target salary range: $50,000-80,000
