Job Description

HEICO Component Repair Group, a global leader in the overhaul and repair of aircraft components, is looking for a Pneumatics Technician to join our talented technical team.

This position offers a dynamic, hands-on environment where your mechanical skills will directly contribute to the performance and safety of commercial aircraft systems. As a Pneumatics Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting, disassembling, repairing, reassembling, and testing various pneumatic aircraft components, including valves, actuators, regulators, and pumps. You will follow OEM manuals, engineering instructions, and FAA regulations to ensure all components meet quality and airworthiness standards before being released back into service.

Your daily responsibilities will include troubleshooting functional issues, replacing defective parts, performing leak and pressure tests, and completing detailed repair documentation. You will work closely with engineers, quality control inspectors, and other technicians to ensure repairs are completed accurately and on schedule.

Requirements

Skills and Education Experience



  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience working with pneumatic or mechanical systems (aviation or aerospace preferred)
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
  • Skilled in using measurement tools, pressure gauges, test equipment, and hand tools
  • Strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Familiarity with FAA regulations and MRO standards is preferred
  • A&P Certification a plus but not required
