This function is responsible for the management of clinical staff in any number of clinics. Responsibilities may include overseeing the management of the Nursing and Provider populations.



  • Provides leadership to and is accountable for the performance and direction through multiple layers of management and senior level professional staff
  • Work most often impacts a large business unit, or multiple markets/sites

Primary Responsibilities:



  • Strategic Workforce Planning:

    • Lead system-wide initiatives to optimize provider staffing models, ensuring cost-effective utilization while meeting patient care demand and operational goals


  • Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement:

    • Partner with physician groups, APPs, and clinical leadership to align staffing models with patient volume trends, quality benchmarks, and service line strategies


  • Provider Lifecycle Management:

    • Oversee provider recruitment, credentialing, onboarding, and retention strategies to build and maintain a high-performing clinical team


  • Data-Driven Forecasting:

    • Implement and manage workforce analytics tools to proactively forecast provider needs, address gaps in coverage, and support long-term capacity planning


  • Communication & Liaison:

    • Serve as the conduit between executive leadership and frontline providers, ensuring transparency, timely responsiveness to concerns, and effective change management


  • Compliance & Accreditation:

    • Monitor adherence to regulatory, accreditation, and organizational standards related to provider staffing and operational integrity


  • Performance Monitoring & Reporting:

    • Use KPIs to evaluate staffing efficiency, provider satisfaction and retention, and volume metrics. Present insights and strategic recommendations to senior leadership on a regular basis

Required Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or equivalent experience in healthcare operations. Master's Degree a plus
  • 7+ years of leadership experience in healthcare operations, preferably in ambulatory or multi-specialty environments
  • Proven track record of strategic provider workforce management and performance improvement
  • Solid analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Familiarity with EPIC, workforce planning tools, and healthcare regulatory standards

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $132,200 to $226,600 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
