Empowered to provide a positive impression to the guests of Chula Vista Resort. Groundskeeper will fulfill the related goals and objectives of the resort while displaying hospitality and professionalism at all times taking pride in representing Chula Vista Resort.
The primary responsibilities and duties of the position consist of, but are not limited to, the following:
- Perform the work as assigned on the daily work orders. When applicable report your hours/wages and supplies for billing purposes. Complete all necessary daily paperwork.
- Parade and maintain all outdoor areas of Chula Vista Resort including but not limited to garbage removal, landscaping, and general cleaning.
- Work independently to complete daily assigned tasks and duties.
- Maintain a valid driver's license at all times.
- Maintain shop, yard, and receiving bays in a clean and organized manner.
- Work with your co-workers to fulfill training & operational strategies of the department.
- Assist any and all departments with any jobs that are deemed necessary and a priority across the entire resort.
- Seek and develop new concepts, products, services and resources for each of the areas.
- Working with supervisors to oversee the operational effectiveness of the departmental operations, while delivering superior quality service at all times.
- Set and ensure compliance with standards of quality for all products and services offered by this department and all positions. All standards will be consistent with the goals and objectives already established by the resort as a whole.
- Maintain compliance with all legal requirements, codes, cleanliness and sanitation standards.
- Work with supervisors and employees to implement the training methods and procedures.

Preferred- 1 year grounds experience

Skill-based competencies required to satisfactorily perform the functions of the job, operation of equipment, and adhere to safety practices. Candidates must be able to work under limited supervision and in outdoor environments with adverse weather conditions or inclement weather.
