Responsibilities

The sponsor is seeking an experienced and motivated individual to perform in the role of the AI Technologist working in a dynamic environment with expertise in XR technical skills. The Technologist will serve as the lab's creation and experiences person performing the following duties:

  • Participating in testing and evaluation of AI technologies and equipment
  • Assisting in the development of AI seminars, workshops, and courses
  • Leading classified discussion groups to expand understanding and explore how to leverage technology to support the mission
  • Creating learning content, events, hands-on experiences, and courses
  • Current experience providing support to augmented and virtual reality teams
  • Drafting Systems Security Plans (SSPs) to support AR/VR efforts
  • Hands-on experience with XR technology such as Microsoft HoloLens 2, Vuzix Blade, and Oculus devices
  • AR and VR technical experience and understanding of the technical application to the customers' needs
  • Network security and endpoint security technical knowledge
  • End-to-end mission coordination and integration in the technical and operational domain
  • Working with commercial vendors and applying technical solutions in a classified environment
  • Customizing commercial software and hardware to support mission-critical needs
  • Engineering and operations management

Qualifications

  • Must possess and be able to maintain a TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph
  • A degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a scientific or technical discipline
  • BS 10-12, MS 8-10, PhD 5-7
  • Ensure information management systems meet corporate and customer business needs
  • Knowledge of information management governance processes
  • Knowledge management practices to improve information management operations
  • Working knowledge of information systems and how changes in conditions, operations, and the environment will affect outcomes
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and challenging environment
  • Ability to coordinate with engineers, systems analysts, programmers, technicians, scientists, and top-level managers in the coordination and planning of programs
  • Ability to apply critical thinking to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems
