TITLE: xIL Application & Systems Engineer DUTIES: Support, the virtual engineering team for xIL requirements tor FCA US LLC's vehicle. Work on Hardware-inlhe- Loop (HiL) simulators. Act as the primary interface between the xIL development team and external teams for xIL requirement analysis and impact analysis. Interface with cross-functional teams of ECU hardware, systems, software, controls, plant modeling, and calibration engineers in order to rapidly resolve xIL simulation environment and integration issues. Triage and troubleshoot during the commissioning of Xil test properties. Work with global teams in North America, EMEA, APAC, and LATAM. Conduct benchmarks. Evaluate new HiL technologies. Work with teams on process, methodology, and tools. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree (or foreign academic equivalent) in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic Engineering, or related field of study, and 5 years of experience in job offered or a related position working with electrical/electronics, hardware, software or controls. Alternatively, master's degree (or foreign academic equivalent) in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic Engineering or related field of study and 3 years of experience in job offered or a related position working with electrical/electronics, hardware, software or controls. Experience must include: working with ICE, ADAS, EE, electric and hybrid Systems; experience with model-based development tools including MATLAB/SIMULINK; modelling powertrain/Driveline and Vehicle model and integration to run in realtime; working with CAN modeling, CANoe, CANanalyser, SPI, LIN and Flash bootloader integration; working with C/C++ code; using scripting languages; working with UDS, XCP Protocol; experience with HIL testing, vehicle integration and validation.
