The position is responsible for a team's strategic design and management, as well as executing innovative initiatives. This includes developing sophisticated cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship tactics to achieve Front Porch's fundraising and stewardship goals. Key objectives include securing new gifts, managing relationships with current and prospective donors, and implementing planned giving programs.

What You'll Do:

The duties listed below are essential functions of the position that must be performed to effectively perform the position in at least an acceptable manner as defined by Front Porch. In the future, other duties may be assigned and considered essential functions of the position:

* Develop, implement, and nourish a comprehensive, multi-year sustainable development plan that strengthens and expands Front Porch's commitment to philanthropy. This plan includes supporting key internal priorities and new initiatives that reflect the organization's mission and values and enhance external impact.

* Provide direction and benchmarks on key deliverables for planned, legacy, and significant gifts, local campaigns, annual appeals, grants, and fundraising/'friendraising' events.

* Direct the strategies required to build on all aspects of programs, including donor research, cultivation, solicitation, communication, recognition, workflows, and stewardship practices for annual, new, legacy, planned, and major gifts.

* Continually review and refine, as necessary, the reporting, benchmarking, and evaluation systems so that Front Porch leadership and the Foundation team have timely information and key metrics to measure progress.

* Mentor and coach staff, collaborate significantly with the expanded leadership team, and assist staff with the Front Porch Communities Foundation Board.

* Lead the Foundation team's growth by creating an accountable and responsible teamwork environment. This includes instituting key metrics for fundraising goals, strengthening systems, developing staff, and implementing best practices.

* Oversee donor communication, acknowledgment, and stewardship programs to ensure branding consistency across all sponsorship, donor outreach materials, and promotional efforts that strengthen long-term, sustainable engagement.

* Oversee the planning and execution of fundraising events, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and enhancing Front Porch visibility. Identify, cultivate, and solicit major gifts/sponsorships personally and prepare CEO and Board members to solicit them personally, as necessary.

* Ensure the Foundation staff cultivates relationships with individual donors and oversees and directs the institutional fund development program, liaising with Front Porch's internal and external social impact programs.

* Work with the Finance staff to develop and manage budgets, clarify fund balances and donative intent, and use data analytics and metrics to forecast and track the progress and success of fundraising goals, strategies, and tactics for more significant results.

* Perform all other related duties as assigned.

What You'll Need:

Bachelor Degree in Nonprofit Management, Business, Communications, or a related field or the equivalent of four years of related work experience

10 years fundraising accounting and/or development activities

Preferred:

Master Degree in Nonprofit Management, Business, Communications, or a related field

5 years Fundraising in a non-profit setting.
