Security Professional - Retail Patrol - Afternoon Shift

As a Security Professional - Retail Patrol - Afternoon Shift in Emerald Isle, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more .

As an unarmed patrol officer in a retail or mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents through your visible presence. You will interact with visitors and staff, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. Your role supports a welcoming environment by responding to situations as they arise and working collaboratively with your team. Pay Rate: $14.28 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall location and its perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions as required by the site.
• Help to deter unwanted activity by maintaining a visible presence and observing the surroundings during patrols.
• Document and report any unusual activity, incidents, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
• Assist visitors, customers, and staff with directions or information as needed while maintaining a professional demeanor.

Minimum Requirements:

• North Carolina Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
