The Marketing Cloud is a multi-billion dollar "Cloud" within Salesforce building a Customer Data Platform. At the largest scales the

Platform Engineering is critical for availability and elastic scalability and performance. We are pioneering new design patterns for

Salesforce Engineering through a substrate agnostic approach internally code named "Falcon"

Join our team of all stars as we lead Salesforce into new territory and empower every engineer in the Customer Data Platform team

and Salesforce teams, with best-in-class tools and processes and making them super productive and deliver products efficiently.

Required Skills:

  • Experience with Java, C# or other OOP Languages

  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and at least 5 years of professional software development experience

  • Good understanding of E2E lifecycle of product development working with multiple engineers

  • Experience with RESTful services

  • Experience with software deployments in an AWS environment

  • Clear understanding of enterprise build pipelines that include automated testing

  • Good understanding of Unit and Integration Testing

  • Thorough knowledge of Design Patterns

  • Ability to analyze performance data, build dashboards to plot and analyze large swaths of data

  • Experience with Agile development methodology (e.g., Scrum)

  • Experience with continuous integration / continuous delivery server technologies

  • Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including

  • coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations Designing and implementing

  • server-side applications, middleware and frameworks

  • Excellent communication skills via email, instant messaging, conference calls, and in-person

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or other relevant technical field, or equivalent experience
