Supply Chain Operations Support Manager - San Juan Capistrano, CA - Monday - Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM

Manage and support all Supply Chain related processes that support a region, or regions. Oversee support staff that will assist the region/regions with the daily material operations, which will include, supply order management, analytical, local agreements, Asset Mgmt, and reporting support in accordance with all Materials and Services Management Policies and Procedures.

Pay Range: $87,000+ / year
Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. Successful candidates may be eligible to receive annual performance bonus compensation.

  • Manage a team of analysts with reporting and analytical work for the regional supply chain operation.
  • Manage the analytical work of warehouse and department inventory to ensure adequate supply of materials while optimizing inventory costs.
  • Comply with all applicable and current Human Resources, Internal Audit, Compliance, College of American Pathologists (CAP), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Finance and Materials and Services Management regulations, policies and procedures as well as any other deemed applicable policies.
  • Act as liaison between requisitioner and the Purchasing Operations Center (POC), including but not limited to requisition review, requisition approval as needed, tracking backorders, problem resolution, Supplier Performance Management System (SPMS) input, managing product recall for the BU, returns and damaged goods.
  • Collaborate with POC and Contract Manager in sourcing issues.
  • Manage the Lab Utilization process to reduce the supply cost per requisition/test.
  • Provide tools, reports, information and/or resources to the region departments to manage and improve supply costs while minimizing inventory on hand.
  • Manage direct report Staff, including workflow, performance reviews, etc.
  • Provide input and resources to the National Supply Chain Operations team
  • Perform other duties as required.
  • Report out as needed to regional and national leadership on key metrics and savings

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Work Experience:

  • Minimum of five (5) years' experience in Materials, Warehousing, Purchasing, Supply Chain Management, Operations or equivalent.

Preferred Work Experience:

  • Knowledge of Laboratory operations preferred.
  • APICS certification highly desirable.

  • Knowledge of Six Sigma process preferred.
