DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In our long-term care facility, you would perform duties of a Food Service Supervisor which include preparing menus, staff assignments, supervision of dietary staff, and food production. Our team and our residents will rely on you to direct and participate in the overall preparation and service of food to residents. In doing so, you will have the ability to improve our residents' quality of life by providing the best care possible. Share your skills and make a difference with us! Interested in learning more? - Full-time employment, 40 hours per week
- Work hours are 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with a 30-minute lunch. Scheduled to work every other weekend and every other holiday.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Two years as a Food Service Worker (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration) and/or production experience, and an Associate degree with major course work in food production and food service; or
- Three years of paid experience in food production and/or service and successful completion of a Certified Dietary Manager course; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training which consists of experience in an institutional setting preparing specialized therapeutic diets, or course work in food production, food service or a related field.
Additional Requirements:
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Legal Requirements:
- A conditional offer of employment may require satisfactory completion of a medical examination
- This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
- Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
