Summary

Coordinates learning experiences, ensures curriculum implementation, and provides guidance to faculty and students in all nursing courses. Supports student learning through advisement and tutoring programs.

Job Duties

  • Manages, directs analysis, and evaluates methods used to ensure curricular and program effectiveness.
  • Plans, coordinates, and evaluates all classroom and clinical learning activities in nursing courses to meet student learning outcomes.
  • Oversees course schedules, faculty assignments, and faculty orientation in nursing courses.
  • Provides counseling, advisement, and tutoring to students.
  • Participates in Faculty Organization standing committees, subcommittees, and Nursing Service Committees.
  • Assists in the formulation of policies for all aspects of the Nursing Program.
  • Assists with evaluation of requests for School of Nursing learning resources.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Nursing, CNE, Education, or curriculum development.
  • 5 years experience in a clinical/classroom educational environment. and
  • 5 years experience with curriculum development, schedule development, and national and state accreditation process.
  • Ability to organize the delivery of quality customer service while managing multiple projects and tasks.
  • Knowledge and ability to extract key data elements from data systems required as well as software programs including MS Word.
  • Knowledge of program coordination and data analysis related to program effectiveness and return on investment.
  • Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite to include Access, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support - State of Pennsylvania Upon Hire
  • RN - Licensed Registered Nurse_PA - State of Pennsylvania Upon Hire

Physical Demands

Lift and carry 25 lbs. frequent sitting/standing, frequent keyboard use, *patient care providers may be required to perform activities specific to their role including kneeling, bending, squatting and performing CPR.
