The Surety Programs Group (SPG) supports government and private sector management of complex safety, security, and reliability programs for high consequence operations. SPG delivers industry-leading, innovative, and value-added services such as data analytics and visualization, threat analysis, risk management, modeling and simulation, program management, system engineering, independent evaluation, and High Consequence Event prevention to help our clients understand and mitigate mission risks spanning physical, cyber, and human domains. Within SPG, the Systems Engineering and Fleet Operations (SEFO) subgroup provides support to the US Navy's Strategic Systems Programs' Integrated Nuclear Weapons Security System, including direct support to the Transit Protection Program. The subgroup also provides functional and matrixed support to various other SPA customers. SPG has an urgent need for a Senior Program Manager to support these efforts. Responsibilities The Senior Program Manager (PM) will oversee and manage all aspects of the customer's strategic and operational planning, program execution, and sustainability, with specific emphasis on developing capabilities responsive to new and emerging threats. The successful candidate will rely on knowledge of U.S. Combatant Command, Fleet, and Custodial Command roles and responsibilities to assist the Navy Nuclear Weapons Surety Program with formulating critical nuclear weapon surety solutions. They will also identify system requirements and develop appropriate acquisition strategies; identify and define program measures of performance and effectiveness as part of a dynamic and integrated joint, strategic plan; analyze and summarize findings into key program and policy documents; and manage and build project and program support systems for all essential program documentation, including memoranda, agreements, orders/directives, and other policy documents to shape decisions. She/He will coordinate routine flag-level meetings to inform decision-making. Finally, the Senior PM will lead and supervise a team of ~7 analysts and engineers.
