To meet ever growing patient needs and support continued access to high-quality care, we are seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner to join our team. This position will include a mix of mostly direct patient care and time allotted to administrative responsibilities as well.
The Marblehead office is part of the larger Mass General Brigham system but maintains the feel of a close-knit team. The practice currently includes six physicians and two nurse practitioners working together in a collegial and supportive environment. The incoming Nurse Practitioner will have the opportunity to practice independently at the top of their license with good physician support and may elect to manage their own patient panel if desired. Our practice values autonomy, innovation, and collaboration. Team members are encouraged to lead quality improvement initiatives, shape clinical workflows, and explore creative solutions that enhance patient care. Education Master's Degree Nursing required Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? No Licenses and Credentials Registered Nurse [RN - State License] - Generic - HR Only preferred Nurse Practitioner [NP] / Advanced Practice Registered Nurse [APRN] [State License] - Generic - HR Only preferred Nurse Practitioner [NP] / Advanced Practice Registered Nurse [APRN] [State License] - Generic - HR Only preferred Experience experience as a nurse practitioner 0-1 year preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities - Skilled in taking medical histories to assess medical condition and interpret findings. - Ability to maintain quality control standards. - Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations. - Ability to interpret, adapt and apply guidelines and procedures. - Ability to communicate clearly and establish/maintain effective working relationships with patients, medical staff and the public.
