DETAILS Location: Irving, TX (onsite 4-5 days per week) Position Type: 6M Contract (w/ possibility of conversion to fulltime) Hourly / Salary: to $110K JOB SUMMARY Vaco Technology is currently seeking a Project Manager for a 6M Contract opportunity (w/ the possibility of conversion to fulltime) located in Irving, TX (onsite 4-5 days per week). The Project Manager will lead and manage IT Projects within a backend Agile Tower at an Energy Provider. The Project Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams (Developers / QAs / Bas / Pos / Stakeholders, etc.), ensuring projects are delivered at the highest quality. The Project Manager must possess a strong background in Agile Methodologies, strong communication skills, and experience managing technical projects.
About the Project: This position is the result of the previous Project Manager being promoted and transitioned to another team internally. The previous Project Manager began as a Business Analyst and was eventually promoted into the Project Manager role, which helped shape the expectations for their next hire. As a result, they are specifically looking for someone who brings a blend of strong Business Analysis and Project Management experience. This hybrid skill set is essential to the role, given its scope and visibility. The Project Manager will be responsible for engaging directly with stakeholders and leadership across multiple teams, where exceptional communication skills, professional presence, and the ability to navigate complex interpersonal dynamics with finesse are critical for success.
