Position Summary:

The facilities Planner/Scheduler reports directly into the engineering and facilities department. The selected candidate will be responsible for planning and scheduling both planned and unplanned asset maintenance activities in support of maintenance, calibration, and engineering activities across the site. In addition, this position is responsible for site asset management workflows and parts inventory management.

Review develop Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) for planning, scheduling and spare parts. Participate in corrective action / Kaizen initiatives related to deficiencies and non-compliances with respect to response time, work quality and asset reliability.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manage Preventive Maintenance scheduling and planning

  • Manage Calibration scheduling and planning

  • Manage Unplanned Maintenance scheduling and planning where required

  • Collaborate with cross-functional site teams for the scheduling and planning of asset maintenance to align with site operational calendars.

  • Collaborate with cross functional site teams for the scheduling and planning of asset maintenance for resources necessary to support asset maintenance activities.

  • Collaborate with vendors for the scheduling and planning of asset maintenance for resources and materials necessary to support asset maintenance activities.

  • Promote standardization and consolidation of maintenance work through CMMS processes

  • Develop appropriate preventive maintenance job plans for all new equipment assets.

  • Track the status of all scheduled maintenance activities, analyze and report data on Work Orders such as: overdue, backlog, received/ completed statistics

  • Facilitate and provide oversight for asset record creation and change

  • Work with the engineering and facilities staff to ensure appropriate spare parts are in inventory and replenished to prevent stockouts

  • Work with procurement to generate and maintain necessary maintenance and calibration contracts.

  • Maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) of all Scheduling and Planning processes.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Familiar with FDA and EU regulations and GMP standards. Experience with agency filings and inspections.

  • Experienced in the preventative maintenance needs of process and utility systems in a GMP and Laboratory environment.

  • Experience with Enterprise Asset Maintenance and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a science related discipline preferred or equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.

  • Minimum of 5 years of pharmaceutical industry or related experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of Maintenance experience with Scheduling and Planning.

Our target base pay hiring range for this position is $80,000.00 - $117,500.00 per year. Actual base pay is dependent upon a number of factors, including but not limited to, the candidate's geographical location, relevant experience, qualifications, skills and knowledge.
