Job Description

The Senior Marketing Coordinator provides essential support in executing long-term strategies to build brand equity, drive customer engagement, and accelerate growth across the Shelter Solutions brand portfolio. This role focuses on assisting with project coordination, content creation, and event execution to ensure all activities align with business objectives and brand strategy and deliver impactful customer experiences.

Working closely with cross-functional teams, agencies, and vendors, the Senior Marketing Coordinator supports the activation of organic and paid campaigns, helps acquire and manage digital assets, and assists in the execution of events that contribute to demand generation, customer loyalty, and retention. By providing day-to-day support in content development, brand and reputation management, and community & customer engagement, this role plays an important part in building brand equity and delivering positive experiences both online and offline.

This position has a virtual-first hybrid work arrangement with a preferred location in Houston, TX, requiring a minimum of two days a week in the office or co-located with other team members.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management & Content Coordination

  • Assist in coordinating multiple marketing initiatives simultaneously, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest standard.

  • Create, acquire and manage digital assets, including audio, video, images, text files, and marketing copy, ensuring brand consistency and asset protection through a Digital Asset Management (DAM) system.

  • Support the scheduling and execution of marketing videos and photography in collaboration with the marketing and sales teams. Help manage production planning and on-site activities, and ensure all assets are archived appropriately and readily accessible.

  • Coordinate with internal teams, agencies, and vendors to execute campaigns, events, and creative projects, utilizing project management tools to organize workflows, deadlines, and communications.

Brand & Customer Engagement

  • Assist in activating customer engagement initiatives, including loyalty programs, events, and awards, to drive customer satisfaction, retention, and alignment with brand strategies.

  • Support the planning and execution of national trade shows, events, and branding programs, helping coordinate logistics, creative deliverables, and follow-up communications.

  • Ensure all materials align with brand guidelines to maintain consistency across channels; support quality control through all steps of the process

  • Help develop informational materials such as newsletters, market updates, and onboarding resources to address customer needs.

  • Monitor and report on campaign and program performance, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.

Content, Creative & Social Media

  • Create engaging content for distribution across various channels, including blogs, newsletters, events, webinars, and social media, ensuring alignment with brand strategy and audience needs.

  • Administer assigned social media platforms by supporting the creation of engaging content, monitoring engagement and performance, and ensuring alignment with overarching marketing strategies.

  • Create, schedule, and optimize content across social platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube) to increase visibility, engagement, and audience growth.

  • Respond to comments, messages, and reviews on social media platforms to nurture relationships, resolve inquiries, and protect brand reputation.

  • Track and report on social media analytics and KPIs, providing performance updates and actionable insights to enhance content, strategy, and results.

  • Support collaboration with internal teams and external partners to produce compelling videos, photography, and creative materials that amplify brand awareness and drive engagement.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of combined experience in marketing, journalism, or public relations.

  • Bachelor's degree required.

  • Must be proficient in English with exceptional US-based grammar and copywriting skills.

  • Building materials industry experience is a plus.

  • Fluency in Spanish is a plus.

  • Proficiency in project management with familiarity or interest in photo and video production.

  • Demonstrated ability to write crisp, high-quality, on-brand copy.

  • Meticulous attention to detail

  • Ability to consider content from a holistic standpoint-systems, platforms, and channels-to create a unified user experience.

  • Customer-centric mindset with the ability to identify win/wins for Cornerstone Building Brands and its customers.

  • Proven ability to execute multiple projects simultaneously without sacrificing quality in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills.

  • Outcome-driven orientation with a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to see a vision through to execution.

  • Ability to work at a detailed level while maintaining an overall project perspective for various customer segments and brands.


Additional Information

Salary Range: $60,000-$80,000
