Senior Special Pricing Analyst

Are you ready to take on the challenge of guiding and supporting Spectrum's pricing analysts and sales teams in evaluating strategic opportunities and approving special pricing as a Senior Special Pricing Analyst? You will provide direct support to Spectrum's Special Pricing Analysts and sales teams, utilizing your sound judgment and business acumen. This role demands a thorough understanding of our entire product set across diverse markets with various competitors and sales dynamics, ensuring optimal pricing decisions.

Responsibilities:

• Recommend alternate product solutions to achieve better margins or better meet customer's requirements
• Requires a solid understanding of all Spectrum Business products & pricing, and the ability to read and understand industry pricing strategies
• Partner with product managers to provide real time market and competitive intelligence on product and pricing solutions to continually refine pricing strategies
• Participate in building RFP pricing models based on the applications and customer requirements
• Conduct pricing research and analysis and provide Sales group with pricing guidance
• Onboarding and training of new hires in departmental policies and operations
• Providing feedback to department leadership on workflow trends
• Work in conjunction with a variety of internal departments to facilitate pricing solutions required to win sales

Required Qualifications:

• Education:
• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Business or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience:
• 7+ years of experience in pricing environment
• Experience with pricing development and implementations
• Skills:
• Applied knowledge in business analysis
• Advanced Excel skills
• Superior quantitative and analytical skills, including expertise in Office applications
• Data visualization tools (such as Tableau)
• Statistical analysis packages (such as R)
