Location: The position will be on-site full-time in Newburyport, MA.

Summary:

The Director of Global Marketing Communications Manager will lead the development and execution of strategic marketing communications plans to enhance brand awareness, drive customer engagement and support business growth within the MedTech space. This strategic thinker will play a critical role in strengthening our market positioning, enhancing customer and industry relationships, and drive data-driven marketing strategies that contribute directly to revenue growth at UFP.

This role requires a dynamic and adaptable leader with strong a strong background in marketing and communications. Leadership capabilities, cross-cultural communication skills, and a proven ability to navigate the complexities of global marketing are crucial. The ideal candidate must be both creative and analytical, bringing strong project management skills and comfortable with digital tools and technologies to drive effective, scalable marketing initiatives in an evolving global landscape. A collaborative mindset and the ability to align cross-functional teams toward shared business goals are essential.

Duties and Responsibilities :
  • Develops and implements comprehensive marketing communications strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Collaborates across all segments of the business and its team members to discover / develop content that will engage audiences and drive leads.
  • Oversees the creation of compelling content for various channels, including digital, print, social media and events.
  • Understands and adapts to diverse cultural nuances in communication and marketing.
  • Inspires, motivates, and leads diverse teams across different regions and cultures.
  • Effectively articulates marketing plans, persuades stakeholders, and crafts compelling messages.
  • Manages multiple projects, budgets, and deadlines across different regions.
  • Analyzes market trends, customer insights, and campaign performance data to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Develops innovative marketing campaigns that differentiate the brand and capture audience interest.
  • Monitors, measures and reports on the effectiveness of marketing communication initiatives, using data to optimize future efforts.
  • Builds and maintains relationships with external partners, including agencies, vendors, industry influencers, media outlets and strategic partners.
  • Ensures brand consistency across all channels, materials, and digital presence.
  • Develops strategic execution of branding initiatives like press releases, white papers, customer stories, case studies, videos, and product shoots.
  • Oversees internal and external communications to strengthen brand recognition, value proposition and align messaging.
  • Drives digital branding, including website innovation, SEO strategies, LinkedIn growth, and paid media campaigns.
  • Collaborates closely with sales teams to align marketing efforts with revenue goals.
  • Qualifies leads, enhances customer interactions, gains current customer insights, and supports account management.
  • Enables sales with tools like presentations, sample kits, and targeted market campaigns.
  • Builds trade show strategy for maximum value, brand recognition, ROI and lead generation.
  • Networks with industry groups to position the company as a market leader.
  • Organizes customer visits, plant site tours, and other customer-facing events.
  • Possess a strong understanding of the company's financial performance and business objectives to align marketing initiatives.
  • Navigates a dynamic and changing global environment.
  • Stays current with emerging digital marketing technologies, tools, and trends.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned or needed.
Qualification Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related discipline and minimum 7 years' Business to Business (B2B) marketing experience.
  • Ability to articulate ideas clearly, message appropriately, and foster collaboration within the team and across departments.
  • Capacity to respond quickly to changing market dynamics, customer needs, and internal demands. Flexibility to pivot strategies when necessary.
  • Willingness to explore innovative ideas and make strategic decisions while thoughtfully assessing potential risks.
  • Able to work closely with sales, commercial teams, and cross-functional units to align marketing efforts with broader organizational goals. Build positive relationships within and outside the organization, engaging with customers, industry experts, and team members.
  • Capable of making informed decisions under pressure and prioritize actions that drive the company's growth.
  • Able to ensure marketing strategies and initiatives are executed seamlessly, remaining focused and detail oriented.
  • Cultivates curiosity to explore emerging market trends, technologies, and customer behaviors, ensuring proactive responses to future opportunities.
  • Must have proven experience managing and executing marketing campaigns using Salesforce and HubSpot.
  • Ability to travel at least 20%, or as needed.
