Job Description

Performance Contracting Inc is seeking a Director of Business Development for its PCI Seattle 102 branch, based out of our operations in Woodinville, Washington. The Director of Business Development plays a pivotal role in aligning customer engagement strategies, driving regional growth initiatives, and ensuring cohesive execution across branches. This individual will work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders including Operations, Branch Leadership, Labor Relations, and Project Teams to deliver targeted results and build sustainable client relationships. This role will require travel throughout the region. Other responsibilities include:



  • Identify and prioritize top/target customers across the region.
  • Lead the implementation of 1PCG product lines within identified accounts.
  • Drive targeted customer acquisitions through strategic outreach.
  • Coordinate with General Contractor (GC) and Mechanical leadership for consistent client approaches.
  • Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of branch customer engagement events.
  • Conduct analysis into challenging and successful customer/project experiences:
  • Develop Corrective Action Plans (CAPs) and best practices.
  • Assign and support branch-level ownership and accountability.
  • Collaborate with Operations to design and execute regional growth plans (e.g., Glazing, Scaffold).
  • Identify and promote PCG's unique value proposition to new and existing customers.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy aligned with regional goals.
  • Work closely with Branch Leadership and Labor Relations to ensure consistent and aligned union engagement strategies.
  • Assess and evaluate construction materials and methodologies for performance and cost-effectiveness.
  • Identify and pursue pre-fabrication opportunities in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
  • Analyze inefficiencies in project delivery and recommend strategic adjustments to improve competitive edge.
  • Establish standardized CRM procedures and reporting expectations across all branches.
  • Identify and empower Branch Champions to leverage key customer relationships.
  • Actively participate in branch sales meetings, strategic planning sessions, customer events, and milestone reviews.
  • Work with project teams to ensure continuity throughout the entire project.



Salary Range: $140,000 - $200,000 plus non-guaranteed annualized bonus program.

Basic Requirements



  • At least 10 - 15 years of experience with business development skills.
  • Preference in commercial construction or experience on the PCI scopes of work.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Construction Science, Business/Marketing or related field, or comparable work experience.
  • Ability to travel up to different branch locations.
