THE JOB:

The Associate Director of Sales is responsible for overseeing assigned Sales Managers and ensuring the achievement of team sales goals. This role also carries an individual sales target, reflecting the incumbent's experience as a veteran sales professional. The position develops and executes sales plans and strategies to meet targets through individual account management and customized solutions. Team oversight and responsibilities may vary depending on property and team assignment.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

  • Secures sales and partners with clients to plan and deliver successful programs.

  • Attends trade shows, site visits, and customer events to promote property offerings and drive revenue.

  • Collaborates with Catering and Convention Services to ensure flawless event execution.

  • Supports marketing strategy development to drive both short- and long-term sales goals.

  • Monitors market trends and competitor offerings to stay competitive.

  • Travels as needed to support sales initiatives.

  • Leads and develops assigned Sales Managers, promoting a high-performance, inclusive team culture.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's Degree in Hotel or Business Administration or has equivalent experience, with at least 4+ years of relevant sales experience and prior management experience.

  • They have a strong background in resort or hospitality environments, excel in leading high-performing teams, and are skilled in driving revenue through strategic sales efforts.

  • This candidate is comfortable traveling quarterly and thrives in a fast-paced, client-focused setting.
