To learn more, visit our benefits and perks page. ______________________________________________________________________ Position Overview:As an IT Support Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our employees and maintaining the company's IT systems. You will troubleshoot hardware and software issues, install and configure software and hardware, and assist in the planning and implementation of IT projects. This is exclusively an essential onsite role Responsibilities: Hours: Monday - Friday 7:00am to 3:30pm Provide Tier 2 technical support to employees for hardware, software, and network issues in a timely manner Install, configure, and maintain software and hardware Assist in the planning, resource allocation and implementation of IT hardware/software projects Monitoring and remediating issues with select server systems Develop computer-based solutions for business needs as required Maintain accurate records of IT support requests and resolutions Keep up with the latest hardware and software technologies Coordinate with internal organization/support groups and/or with vendors Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience Proven experience as an IT support technician or similar role Computer & Network Technology A.A.S. degree or related field (Preferred) IT certification (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+) (Preferred) Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues Knowledge in various operating systems (Windows/Mac/Linux/iOS) Self-motivated Familiarity with IT security best practices Excellent communication and customer service skills Physical Requirements:* Generally, spend the workday sitting at a workstation and operating computer devices, such as, but not limited to keyboard, mouse and screen * Generally, spend the workday performing repetitive motions that involve or affect the hands, head, and other parts of your body * Capable of lifting up to 40 lbs. from floor to shoulder height * Constantly positions self to maintain computers in the lab, including under the desks and in the server closet Compensation: The base pay range for this position is: $23.25 to $32.00 Many factors influence the determination of base pay within a range, including the candidate's work experience in related roles; the candidate's knowledge, skills, capabilities, and performance; the relative pay of other DigiKey employees in similar roles; and the budget available for the position. ______________________________________________________________________ DigiKey Electronics is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
