Cognizant Technology Solutions is currently seeking a highly skilled Senior SAP S4HANA FICO Consultant who will be catering to North America customers and involves supporting proactive and reactive business opportunities such as managed services and transformation. The individual will be closely working with our onsite sales / delivery teams, and participate in solution discussions, and workshops.

Job Summary:

As a Functional Architect specializing in SAP S/4HANA, you will play a critical role in designing and integrating financial and logistical processes across the enterprise. With a strong focus on FI-SD and FI-MM integration, you will ensure seamless operations in areas such as accounts receivable, profitability analysis, and cost center accounting. Your expertise will drive operational efficiency, enhance compliance, and support the company's strategic financial goals.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the integration of FI-SD and FI-MM modules within S/4HANA to optimize end-to-end financial and logistical workflows.
• Oversee the implementation of Accounts Receivable processes, including cash application and invoice reconciliation.
• Provide subject matter expertise in Profitability Analysis (CO-PA) to support strategic financial planning.
• Implement and manage Cost Center Accounting to improve cost tracking and reporting accuracy.
• Configure and support SAP Controlling (CO) functionalities to ensure robust financial control and analysis.
• Facilitate Profit Center Accounting to enhance financial transparency and accountability across business units.
• Manage Product Costing processes to ensure accurate cost allocation and pricing strategies.
• Coordinate Automatic Payment configurations to streamline vendor payment cycles.
• Leverage New General Ledger (New GL) capabilities to improve financial reporting and regulatory compliance.
• Apply domain knowledge in tax processing to ensure adherence to local and international tax regulations.
• Oversee payroll processing to ensure accurate and timely employee compensation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and performance of financial systems.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aligned with the company's strategic financial objectives.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 9 years of experience in SAP S/4HANA implementations with a focus on FICO.
• Proven expertise in FI-SD and FI-MM integration.
• Strong hands-on experience with:

1. Accounts Receivable (AR)
2. Profitability Analysis (CO-PA)
3. Cost Center and Profit Center Accounting
4. SAP Controlling (CO)
5. Product Costing
6. Automatic Payments
7. New GL

• In-depth understanding of cash application, tax compliance, and payroll processing.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver complex solutions in a dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

SAP certification in SD module is a plus.

Salary and Other Compensation:

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
