The Systems Engineering Division (SED) provides unmatched experience in systems engineering to the U.S. government and to numerous public and private agencies, universities, nonprofit organizations, consortia, and commercial companies involved in the advanced application of space technology. From systems architecture development to system analysis and optimization, astrodynamics, orbital debris, navigation, failure analysis, mission assurance, cost and schedule assessment, and economic market analysis, SED exploits an incredibly broad array of engineering and business disciplines against a dynamic portfolio of programs and national challenges. The Economic Market & Analysis Center (EMAC) applies deep technical expertise and experience to provide situational awareness on business, mission, technology, policy, and industrial base risks to improve customer outcomes. Our innovative and highly productive team of systems engineers, market analysts, economists, corporate finance, and business intelligence analysts help decision makers understand and mitigate tactical and strategic risks. EMAC assesses threats and leverages deep insights into market dynamics, economics, supply chains, finance, data analytics and fuses its analyses with US space needs (e.g., engineering, and technology) creating data-driven due diligence assessments, diagnostic business viability assessments, and economic market/business intelligence studies. When applicable, these studies often include risks mitigation approaches/options that our customer can consider using while navigating complicated and complexed scenarios. Overall, EMAC informs senior leaders in the US Government and its Key Partners by identifying and managing risks with informed tradeoffs to a) successfully leverage commercial and non-commercial space capabilities and b) navigate a rapidly evolving commercial and government space ecosystem.We are looking for a Senior Space Market and Business Intelligence Analyst (Systems Engineering - Economic & Market Analysis) to join our team! As a Senior Space Market and Business Intelligence Analyst in the Economic and Market Analysis Center (EMAC), you will provide market, business, finance, and economic advice to senior Aerospace, USG customers, and possibly contractor leadership. Primary customers support the National Security Space and Intelligence Community (IC) Agencies. You will be a key contributor to work within a high-performance team to deliver market, finance, and business intelligence insights, while also being able to communicate engineering risks and threats to better integrate economic, business, and market intelligence into supporting national security space processes and plans. Work Model This is a Full-Time/ On-site position based in Chantilly, VA, El Segundo, CA, Colorado Springs, CO, or Albuquerque, NM, offering a work model that combines regular onsite workdays and remote flexibility as the business needs allow. Individual salaries within that range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge and skills.
